Yes, you need to book for guided/self-guided tours and art workshops for school groups and groups of 10 adults or more.
For individuals, booking is only required for intergenerational workshops (Wednesdays during school holidays in French-speaking Belgium) and intergenerational guided tours (once a month).
The Fondation Folon’s permanent exhibition is accessible.
The temporary exhibition, which is on the upper floor, is not accessible.
Wheelchairs and walking cane seats can be hired at the museum reception.
The carpark is 300m from the museum. Please contact us the day before your visit, on 02/653 34 56, for access codes to the Solvay Regional Estate. The code is only for dropping off passengers, not for parking.
From 3 years of age. There is, however, one exception to this. Our intergenerational workshops, held on Wednesdays during school holidays in French-speaking Belgium, are recommended for children aged 6 and over.
The Fondation Folon has produced the Ludicofolon booklet. Children have a copy each and take it with them throughout the tour. They fill it in as they go, noting everything they discover – like a treasure hunt. The Ludicofolon booklet is available for purchase at the museum reception. €3
No, the museum does not have an audioguide.
The taking of photographs with an SLR camera, video camera, etc is forbidden. Photographs may only be taken with a smartphone and NO FLASH IS ALLOWED.
Toilets are available for museum visitors and Taverne de l’Homme Bleu customers only. They can be found in the Fondation Folon courtyard (on the right of the Taverne).
No. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the museum.
The free carpark is a 300 metre walk from the museum, at no.4 Drève de la Ramée (1310 La Hulpe). To find the carpark using the Waze or Google Maps app, enter “Parking Gaillemarde/Fondation Folon”.
No. Vehicular access to the Estate is not permitted. Only people with limited mobility may enter the Estate, provided they obtain the access code beforehand from the Fondation Folon team.
The Solvay Regional Estate is a public park which is free to visit. It is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. The Château de La Hulpe is not open to the public.
There are bike racks at the entry to the “Gaillemarde/Fondation Folon” carpark and in the Fondation Folon courtyard (to the left of the Artshop).
You can buy gift cards (for entry to the museum) but only at the museum reception.

Press kits are always available from the museum reception during temporary exhibitions. Admission is free on presentation of a valid press pass.
Yes. The Artshop is open to everyone during museum opening hours.
Yes, the museum’s Artshop stocks a wide selection of posters. However, we do send products of this type by post.
You’ll find the “Taverne de l’Homme Bleu” restaurant opposite the museum reception. It is independently run and full information can be found on its website.
