The Fondation Folon is a museum with its own collection. It therefore acquires, conserves, studies, exhibits and passes on this extraordinary legacy to the public.
It protects Jean-Michel Folon’s image and manages the rights to his work.
Finally, it is committed to upholding the values that the artist held dear. These values are central to its social mission. Every year, honouring Folon’s wishes, it welcomes many visitors with mental or physical disabilities for a free tailor-made tour. It continues Folon’s human rights work with Amnesty International by republishing the Declaration on a regular basis and donating proceeds from sales of the book to the organisation.
